冈山商科大学孔子学院于2007年6月12日签署合作协议，11月25日举行揭牌仪式，是日本中四国地区开办的第一所孔子学院。时任中国驻日本东京大使馆公使衔参赞孙建明、时任中国驻日本大阪总领事馆教育室领事刘占山、时任辽宁省教育厅外事处处长李庆才、时任开云官方客户端下载 校长孙玉华以及来自日本冈山县行政、经济、教育界的代表们共一百余人出席了揭牌仪式。

Under the cooperative agreement signed on June 12th, 2007, Confucius Institute of Okayama Shoka University was opened on November 25th, and it is the first Confucius institute in Central Shikoku of Japan.Over 100officials attended the opening ceremony, including Sun Jianming, former MinisterCounselor of the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo, Liu Zhanshan, former Consul of Department of Education of the Chinese Consulate in Osaka, Li Qingcai, former Director of Office of Foreign Affairs of Liaoning Provincial Bureau of Education, Sun Yuhua, former DLUFL President, and delegates from Okayama Prefecture in administration, economy and education of Japan.

作为特色项目，该孔院在当地广播电台举办冈山商科孔院汉语广播讲座，该讲座已持续9年，每周一次，由孔院教师及志愿者主讲，教授汉语，传播文化，受到当地汉语爱好者的喜爱。As one of its special programs, the Institute has held Chinese language lectures on air in the local broadcasting station for 9 years on a weekly basis by its teachers and volunteers, which has become very popular among local Chinese language learners.

多年来，该孔子学院积极贯彻孔子学院总部的办学宗旨，与当地社区、学校、企业加强合作，努力将孔子学院建设成中四国地区教授汉语、传播中国文化的窗口与平台。

For these years, the Institute has been actively carrying out the schooling philosophy of Confucius Institute Headquarters and strengthening its cooperation with local communities, schools and enterprises, aiming to building a platform of teaching the Chinese language and spreading Chinese culture in Central Shikoku.
